Infant carrier
Rear-facing, for the smallest passengers. It takes the most room of the three, which is why an estate or MPV is usually the right call if you are also carrying a travel system.
Forward-facing child seat
For toddlers and pre-schoolers who have outgrown the carrier. Two will sit side by side in an MPV without either adult having to sit between them.
Booster seat
For older children still under 135cm. Compact, so a booster rarely changes which vehicle you need — it is the carriers and the pushchair that drive the decision.

Assume it occupies the space of one large suitcase. With two checked cases as well, an estate is the realistic minimum and an MPV is more comfortable. Booking a saloon and hoping is how families end up watching a driver repack a boot in a drop-off zone on a clock.
Compact fold stroller
Folds small enough to sit alongside luggage rather than instead of it. A saloon copes for one child and two cases; beyond that the seats are fine but the boot is the constraint.

Does a child seat cost extra?
No. Infant carriers, child seats and boosters are supplied and fitted at no charge, however many you need. The fare shown for the vehicle is the fare you pay.
How many child seats can you fit?
It depends on the vehicle and the seat types, so we confirm the exact combination when you book rather than promise a number here. Two forward-facing seats side by side is straightforward in an MPV; three carriers across a saloon rear bench is not.
Can I use my own seat instead?
Yes, and many parents prefer to, since the same seat then travels with them. It counts as luggage for space purposes, so factor it into the vehicle size — a carrier plus its base takes real boot room.
What if our flight is delayed?
Arrivals are tracked against the live flight time and waiting is free for 60 minutes after landing, so a delay with tired children does not turn into a second fare or a scramble to rebook.
Is one larger vehicle cheaper than two cars?
On every route in the table above, yes. Two saloons to Gatwick is £158; a single eight-seat MPV is £134, and the whole party stays together with the luggage.
Can the driver help with the bags?
