The Elizabeth line runs direct from Canary Wharf to Heathrow, but LondonAirport‑Taxi.com takes you and your luggage door to door instead, through the Limehouse Link and west on the A4 and M4 to your terminal at a fixed fare.
Available 24/7, 365 days a year. See every Heathrow fare.
Looking for a reliable Canary Wharf to Heathrow Airport taxi? LondonAirport‑Taxi.com collects from the towers around One Canada Square and Cabot Square, the newer homes at Wood Wharf, the flats along South Quay and Millwall, and every street on the Isle of Dogs, then crosses London to all four Heathrow terminals on a fixed fare. Most journeys leave Docklands through the Limehouse Link tunnel, follow the river west past Tower Hill and along the Embankment, and pick up the A4 Cromwell Road out to the M4. On days when central London is jammed, your driver can head north to the A40 Westway instead.
Coming home from a long-haul flight, you will find your driver in the arrivals hall holding a name board, and because the flight is tracked from take-off there is no need to call ahead if it lands early or late. Waiting is free for 60 minutes after the actual landing time, which leaves room for passport control and a slow baggage belt. Families can ask for child seats when booking; they are free, fitted in MPVs and larger before pickup, up to two per car. The fare you accept at booking is the fare you pay, with the Heathrow drop-off charge already included in the fixed fare and no extra for late nights or bank holidays.
Professional fixed-fare transfers connecting Canary Wharf and the wider London to every Heathrow terminal — with TfL-licensed drivers, real-time flight tracking, and complimentary meet & greet on arrival.

From the Isle of Dogs the usual line is out through Westferry Circus into the Limehouse Link tunnel, then west along The Highway to Tower Hill and Lower Thames Street, following the Embankment past Westminster towards Chelsea and Earl’s Court. There the A4 Cromwell Road becomes the Great West Road over the Hammersmith Flyover and runs on to the M4, which leads to Junction 4 and the airport spur for Terminals 2 and 3, with Terminals 4 and 5 reached on the Heathrow perimeter roads. When the riverside roads are blocked, drivers take Commercial Road and the A501 Euston and Marylebone Roads onto the A40 Westway, then drop south through Hayes on the A312 to rejoin the M4 near the airport.

Canary Wharf works to market hours, and many trips from its banks and law firms are booked late, often with a laptop bag and a suit carrier. A pre-booked car leaves from the building entrance at the time you choose, gives you a quiet back seat to finish calls across London, and comes with an emailed receipt for expenses.
Early long-haul and European departures often need you at Heathrow before Elizabeth line services from Docklands are running. A booked car can leave the Isle of Dogs in the small hours while the A4 is quiet, and the fare is the same as it would be at midday.

Common questions about Canary Wharf to Heathrow taxis. More on our FAQ page.
The fare shown above is the all-in price for a saloon carrying up to three passengers, fixed when you book and the same at any hour. The Heathrow drop-off charge is already included in the fixed fare, and larger vehicles are listed in the fare table.
The Elizabeth line is a good direct option if you travel light and leave at a sociable hour. A car makes more sense with heavy cases, children or a group sharing one fare, or for a departure before the first trains run, because it collects from your door and stops at your terminal kerb with no platforms, lifts or crowded carriages.
Allow the drive time shown above, which reflects a normal run across London on the A4 and M4. Weekday rush hours through central London can add to it, so give yourself extra margin for morning and early-evening flights.
Yes. We cover the whole Isle of Dogs and the wider Docklands, including Wapping, Limehouse, Poplar, Blackwall and the Greenwich Peninsula across the river.
